This branch named "Anticipating North" part of the Canadian Heritage Leaves "Masterpiece Series" was designed for the (CMHA-wecb)Canadian Mental Health Association of Windor's main foyer. The branch is 11 feet long by 6 feet wide sporting 200 Real Canadian Maple leaves in bronze and copper. It weighs in at over 100 pounds and took six months to design and complete. As you can see this branch is quite impressive in size and surely would be the center of attention anywhere it hangs.
These two works are actually the same branch under different light conditions. The piece will reflect surrounding room colors giving a different effect for each situation. The branch consists of 45 Canadian maple leaves, mounted on an actual bronze plated maple branch. It measures 48"X32" and weighs well over 15 pounds, making this piece the center of attention of any room. The end of each branch is cut, polished, and lacquered letting the natural wood show through. Everyone who sees it will know it is real wood!
This piece consists of 13 maple leaves on a maple branch. The leaves and branch are finished in bronze and measures 36"X22". This branch now hangs proudly above a gentleman's fireplace, which I have been told has been the topic of many conversations.
The look of old weathered copper was the inspiration behind this work. The finish is Patina which has been applied to the copper leaves giving it that old weathered, been in the family for years look! The branch measures 22"X20"
This is a picture of all three branches in an outdoor setting. You will notice how they vary in size, and are very dramatic in their own way.

A little piece of Canada in Hollywood!
The Cast of Boy Meets World -Friends of my niece Susie who passed away from cancer Aug/1996. Danielle(right) was a wonderful friend to our niece. She was loyal and extremely kind to Susie even at such a great distance. Danielle brought immense joy to a little girl, taking time out of her busy schedule to visit Susie at the hospital in Toronto, making memories that will live forever! Thanks Danielle, and the cast of Boy Meets World, Blossom, Home Improvement, and Sea Quest.
